Creating your cover letter
Step 1: Upload or build your resume
Head to the Resume Builder to get started. From there, you can upload an existing resume or create one from scratch. If you're tailoring your application to a specific job, select that position during the process.
Step 2: Your cover letter generates automatically
Once your resume is processed, your cover letter appears automatically — no extra clicks required. You'll see both documents grouped together in your document manager and in the job application overlay. This cover letter maker technology saves you hours of writing time.
Note: Tailoring a resume (and generating a cover letter) is available 5 times on a Basic membership. After that, a Premium membership is required to continue tailoring.

You can edit any part of your cover letter using our editor, which includes formatting options:

Finding your cover letter later
All your cover letters are stored in the Application Documents tab. To find them, go to Resume in the top navigation, open Resume Builder, then click the Application Documents tab. You can access them anytime to download, create new versions, or update information. This makes it easy when you're ready to apply for jobs — everything you need is organized in one place.
